Lucky!

So as I was browsing through the toddler clothes at the Salvation Army yesterday I came across this shirt...
And I seemed to remember having one EXACTLY like it for the baby...
How lucky is that!? And in the right sizes and everything! Wow! Plus the onesie was a gift from Melissa, and Tanner's shirt was very inexpensive...so my boys will have matching outfits on the cheap! Yay! Can't wait for a photo shoot of the two of them...that is if this baby ever decides to come out and join us. If you'll notice I'm 39 weeks today! I think that means he should come out NOW!

Honda Odyssey

We were in need of a second vehicle since we've been mooching off of Dean's parents for quite some time now (Thanks Mom and Dad!). And figured it should be something we can grow into, so we broke down and bought a Honda Odyssey! This one in fact...
So I guess I'm officially a mini-van driving Momma! We're pretty happy with it and hope it will last for a LONG time. It will make our DRIVE to Utah this summer much more pleasant. (If pleasant is a word that can be used to describe a drive to Utah with a one month old and a two year old! Wish us luck!)

Pajama Boy

We are still here and I still haven't had a baby. I'm officially 38 weeks today and as of Monday I was dilated to 2 cm's. Still waiting for him to decide to show up. In the mean time I slept in till 9:30 AM this morning with this cute little guy...
I love his jammies and his cute little bed head! I get to spend the day with him and then head to Time Out For Women tonight! (I guess it's not TOO bad the baby waited so I can make it to that. Although I'm feeling EXTREMELY sick of being pregnant and can't wait to be done!) Here's hoping my water doesn't break in the middle of TOFW tonight!

Almost there!

Here's the latest in the belly pictures (click on it to enlarge). I went to the doctor yesterday and I'm officially dilated to 1.5 cm and 50% effaced. I still don't know when this little stinker will decide to show up, but we're getting closer!! Tanner keeps telling me he should come out, so if he listens to his big brother maybe it will be sooner rather than later. In other news, we are officially moved into our new place, so I'm WAY more ready for the baby to come. We still have plenty to move, but the essentials are all here so we'd be ok if he shows up soon. We'll keep ya posted! ;)

"I Handsome Mom!"

Well back in November I found this cute sweater vest at the Salvation Army and have been waiting MONTHS for Tanner to wear it for Easter. Tanner was actually feeling pretty good in his outfit too. He kept telling me, "I handsome Mom!" We didn't actually get pictures before, so we snapped some this Sunday after church. The blossoms are out now and the weather was BEAUTIFUL! We LOVE Spring!! Here's a few cute Spring pictures of our little family...

Spring has Sprung...

So despite the craziness here it actually has been in the 80's and BEAUTIFUL outside lately. I've decided however, that I'm VERY grateful that I won't be pregnant anymore by the summer. Plus I should be living in an air conditioned home by then! Yay! Tanner and I took the opportunity to sport our shorts and capris and headed out to blow bubbles and color with sidewalk chalk the other day. I snapped a few pictures and this first one was too good not to share...

Apparently he needs to beef up a bit or we need to save these shorts for later...he couldn't keep the stinkin' things up! Ha! Too funny!

Moving Update

Don't worry...since Comcast can't come to switch the internet and cable (we all know this is THE most important thing in a new house...food...not necessary...internet and TV...a MUST!) until Friday, Dean came to his senses and decided to START moving last night, not actually move EVERYTHING. Ha! So I survived and eventually we'll get all moved.

Oh Yay!

Just to catch you up....my feet/ankles are approximately three times their normal size. I can basically only fit into my flip-flops (which I previously didn't love because they were too big). I'm 9 months pregnant. I woke up to a HORRIBLE cramp in my leg this morning which as a result is still SORE this afternoon. And then Dean called at lunch and said he thinks we should move TONIGHT! Ok, GREAT! I'll jump right on that babe! Wish me luck! ;)

Easter 2010

We had a great Easter this year. It was so nice to have General Conference the same weekend as Easter. We loved hearing the words of our Prophet and other Church leaders as we remembered our Savior and His miraculous Resurrection. Tanner even seemed to grasp it a little when he told me as he was falling asleep, "Jesus come back to life, Mom!" Of course we squeezed in an Easter Egg Hunt and baskets too. Easter Eggs '10

Monday night after looking at washers and dryers, and running some other errands we squeezed in a late FHE decorating Easter Eggs! Tanner has been talking about his for weeks and he had SO much fun. Now he can't wait for the Easter Bunny to come hide them and bring CANDY! He tells me everyday that he's "excited!" Here's a few pictures of the evening...

Tanner got his own painting set to decorate with, which was a little easier for him to do on his own. And boy does he like to do things all by himself!

Not really sure why this tradition started but ever since our first Easter together we end up with a picture like this every year. Ha! Hopefully Dean doesn't kill me for posting these. ;)

He got a little bit messy but that's half the fun right!?!

And of course we had to end the night with home evening TREAT. Chocolate donuts! YUM!
