Keaton's 5 Months

Keaton hits the five month mark this week! He has the cutest little tuft of hair on top of his head, but not much anywhere else. He isn’t a big fan of solid foods yet, and definitely doesn’t like carrots. 🤣 He always has his little tongue sticking out or his whole fist in his mouth and he slobbers like crazy. He’s pretty good at entertaining himself and playing with toys and we’re all still enamored by his every move. #KeatonMax

First Day of School 2023

The beginning of the school year always comes way sooner than any of us would prefer, but here we are again back at school.  Tanner took off when it was still pretty dark out so his pictures aren't the best, but you get the general idea.  Keaton and I were pretty lonely all day, but he napped like a champ without a million people to wake him up.  Guess we could get used to that perk!  Good luck on a new year boys!  Remember who you are and do your best!

Love these giant dweebs! They're sure to keep everyone at the Jr. High laughing this year! 😆

Hookstown Fair 2023

The week before school starts is always chock full of all the things we neglected to do all summer so we pack in the fun before we can't anymore.  We hit up the new Ninja Turtle movie during the day while Dean was at work and then the whole family went to the Hookstown Fair that night.  We love seeing the Cunninghams and their cows and the rides and fair food are a close second.  We got lucky this year and were there on the night they do fireworks after a rodeo so we stayed long enough to see both!
Keaton wasn't awesome at the movies so I ended up standing with him by the door for lots of the movie, but the other boys were good while I was otherwise occupied.  He did eventually fall asleep so I snuck back into the handicap seats by the door to finish the show.

Colby's prize cows!

They added a fun little petting zoo this year.  Llamas everywhere!

Bridger was excited to be tall enough to do some of the big rides this year.

I didn't expect it to be chilly so I was ill prepared for this poor kiddo. He had to be wrapped up in the thin, little, nursing cover, but we made do.  He was a champ to nap in the stroller and last clear through the fireworks.
Gourmet Funnel Cakes hit the spot!

Braddock desperately wanted to try his hand at climbing this ladder.  He was certain he could make it to the top, and he did get close.  The station operator was really nice and showed him afterwards how he does it.

Braddock's 11th Bday

The Sunday before Braddock's birthday we celebrated at Family Dinner.  He requested Ho Ho Cake and no one was complaining about that!!  He got his traditional ear tugs from Great Grandma and we made sure to get pictures with all the grandparents...

On his actual birthday he woke up to peach breakfast cobbler and his birthday card and shirt to start the day off right.  Dean had to be back at school to start prepping for the new year, so I got brave and hauled all the boys out to Raccoon Creek State Park myself.  We had SO much fun and Keaton even warmed up the water and sand.  Braddock's birthday request was to be burried in the sand and turned into a buff guy with a six pack.  Tanner obliged and burried him while I was holding a napping Keaton.  We stayed as late as we could before it was time to head home to make his birthday dinner of crepes.  Tanner also helped make those.  He's awesome and they turned out delicious.  Braddock had asked for money to start saving for our upcoming trip to Disneyworld next summer, but we couldn't help but get him a Dobby Lego Set (his two favorite things in one) and then we managed to give him the surprise of his life by putting his money inside his cake.  Watching him discover that was the highlight of the day for sure.  We sure love this big 11 year old.  He'll be having a Harry Potter birthday party with all his friends in a few weeks.  Can't wait to celebrate him even more!

These boys are my world!  So grateful I get to do life with them.

I guess some things never get old.

Tanner making birthday dreams come true.

Not sure how he feels about the cold water and sand.

Just chillin' at the beach.
Braddock got a call from Grandma and Grandpa Hilton on our drive home from the lake.

Played some Nintendo Switch with his brothers.

This memory will forever be a birthday favorite around here!
