Easter Egg Hunting

Saturday morning we had our traditional Easter Egg Hunt.  Dean did a great job of getting Keaton in on the action......seems like just yesterday he was doing that with baby Tanner......time sure flies!!  We found all the eggs and got spoiled with some fun things in our baskets as well.

The Easter Bunny hooked us all up with fun things to wear on our upcoming trip to Disneyworld!

The Easter Bunny also spoiled us with a paddleboard and Harry Potter perler beads.  He must know where to find good deals! 😉

Dying Easter Eggs 2024

I'm grateful that no matter how old the boys get they still get into Easter Egg Dying.  We all have fun with it.  Tanner usually tries some new method related to Chemistry.  Dean gets in his classic "I 💗 Andrea" egg. The spinners and markers are always a hit too!  I love getting creative with this fun bunch.

Loved the idea to use temporary tattoos.  Easy and they turned out so cute!

And Keaton woke up from his nap just in time to join us.....he prefered eating to dying though! 😉

Fire Fun

Another bucket list item was having a fire in the backyard.  We pulled a bunch of stuff from the cupboards and freezer and pulled off some of our best tin foil dinners to date!  And of course we topped the night off with smores and string cheese roasted on the fire as well.

Spring Breakin'

Since we had a decent Spring Break this year and we weren't planning to go anywhere we planned a little bucket list of sorts we wanted to try and squeeze in over the break.  One of the things on the list was going out to breakfast.  We NEVER do that and it sounded fun.  Well, for various reasons we weren't ready to go out till mid morning so it was more of a brunch than breakfast but it tasted just as good.  We first attempted to go to Eggs N' At but they were packed so we settled for IHOP instead.  Since we were out by Montour Trail we made the spontaneous decision to go for a walk along the trail that turned into a bunch of exploring off the trail too.  We had so much fun just taking it slow and enjoying nature.  Minus the two ticks we found on Tanner and Landon we were all pretty happy we went.  I love making memories with this crew.

We happened upon this fun little water hole.  It would be cool to come back in warmer weather sometime and swim.

I love when Tanner and Landon get excited about taking pictures when we're out on hikes.  It's fun seeing them take in the small beauties around them.

This wild child had a blast being pushed, carried, and carted around.

These crazies thought it would be a good idea to send Landon shimmying down this log to pick a mushroom out over the creek.  Not sure I agree, but he managed not to fall in, so I guess it was a win.

We found this old crumbling bridge with trees and plants now growing all over it.  It was a pretty cool peek into the past.
Same old bridge from the side.

Love this little cutie even if he tries to pull all my hair out.

These boys have my heart!  We're living the good days right now and it's not lost on me!
And I made Landon snap a picture of me in front of this gazebo because it reminds me of Gilmore Girls.
