An Ancient Dinosaur

Over the holidays Braddock decided it was high time to try his hand at building this vintage lego t-rex that's been in Grandma and Grandpa Nelson's toy bin their whole lives.  A little online searching and we found the instructions.  By some miracle we located all the pieces too.  Legos sure have come a long way since the 90's.

A Very Nelson Christmas

Once all the family had arrived we had our "Nelson Christmas" celebration.  We had Janna this year and got her a heated vest.  The perfect gift for her cold-hating self.  Eric and Morgan sent some fun games and chocolates for all of us.  Grandma and PapPap joined via zoom and spoiled us all.  And of course Mom and Dad outdid themselves as well.  It was fun watching everyone open their gifts and enjoy their new spoils.

Keaton sipping from his new mug from Grandma and PapPap

Cool new games from Eric and Morgan's crew
Dianne helped Braddock sign to Janna to explain our gift.
Keaton never gets any attention 😉

Thank you hugs for Grandma and Grandpa

Braddock and Bridger got their coveted Zip Strings

Landon's the proud new owner of a cassette player and a bike pouch for all his gear.
And Tanner will be buying himself whatever he wants with that Amazon card.....much easier to fly home with too! 😉

An Epic Christmas Eve

We let the boys open a Christmas gift from Dean and I a little early so we could be sure to get it in before family arrives and while Tanner’s still here. Turns out Christmas Eve was a great time to hit up the go-kart park. We had a blast racing and axe throwing and made some great memories. Believe it or not Bridger took first place in almost every single race! 🏎️

Notice who the only one to not make it on the winner's podium was??  Apparently I'm the worst racer in the family, but my actual driving record is immpecable.

We also got to do axe throwing but Bridger isn't quite old enough so we brought some cards and took turns playing games with him while the rest of us threw axes.  I was happy to play games cause my axe throwing is even worse than my go-karting! 😂

After a yummy dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Nelson's we came home and opened our new pj's.  This year we went with a Gilmore Girls theme and this momma was thrilled that everyone was happy with it.  It will forever be one of my favs.

I couldn't find pants to match in Keaton and Bridger's sizes so I turned men's sized pants into size 10 and 3T.  Pretty pleased that they actually turned out!  I'm not actually a seamstress so I took a big chance on it.  And now to go to sleep so Santa can come!
