Go Cougs!

Scott and Kara went to the BYU Football Game and made efforts to find Tanner.  Love seeing them together especially when I'm so far away.

Not on our bucket list....

A nearly midnight skunk spray of the dog made for a frantic late night at our house last night. Chloe’s been bathed with peroxide (Dean drove to multiple gas stations looking for some since they were the only stores open that late but no luck, thankfully Mom and Dad had some!) and baking soda, but she’s still in dog jail in the garage till I feel like she is clean enough to come in the house. This is our first soirΓ©e with a skunk so any and all advice is welcome!!! 🦨  *We got lots of advice and ended up buying skunk treatment and shampoo from Petsmart.  Dean's a rockstar and bathed her yet again and she smells mostly normal and is back in the house.  I'm afraid she'll be a bit skunky every time she gets wet for the foreseeable future.  And you better believe we're far more cautious in letting her out after dark these days. Don't want to ever experience this again.

Veterans Day Parade

Froze our little buns off this morning, but it was worth it to celebrate and honor our Veterans today. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ SO grateful for the sacrifices of so many that allow us to enjoy freedom and liberty today. And we squeezed in some fun at Walmart on our way home. 🀣

Dean was drooling over this mustang.

Go Landon!

We got lucky sitting in front of this dentist office.  They happened to have a moving, talking Hermey from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Keaton was very entertained by him.

Bill Schmuck rode by in this fun car.  Thanks for your service Bill!

I showed the boys a funny trend people have been doing at stores, so when we popped in at Walmart on our way home they had to try it out....

Trick or Treating

And since trick or treat got changed to Saturday, we packed that in on Bridger’s birthday as well! Landon and Braddock went with a bunch of their friends and had a blast. They even came home with books, potatoes, and cups of soup they picked up trick or treating. And Dean, Bridger, Keaton, and I had so much fun with the Ender’s and their crew trick or treating around our neck of the woods. Grandma and PapPap won the day again this year by giving out $1 bills. The kids go crazy for their house! Bridger even overheard a little boy telling about how sometimes they even give out $100.  He didn't correct him and is just letting the lore live on!  Hahaha!  Now we all need a serious sugar detox after all that candy!! πŸŽƒπŸ‘»πŸ’€πŸπŸ«πŸ¬

Carter and Joe

This is how we pass out candy.....no time for sitting around handing it out.

Loved stopping in at Grandma and PapPap's

Bridger's Birthday Party

I'm embarrassed to admit that this was Bridger's first friend birthday party.  Yes, he's 10! Oops!  I guess that's what happens when you're number 4 and your mom is tired/hates putting on parties.  But that made him extra excited for his big day.  We invited 8 boys to our local arcade and they had a blast playing there for a couple of hours before heading over to Bruster's for ice cream and presents.  It was the perfect amount of fun with very little work for this mom!  And apparently I'm cool enough that all his friends wanted to play me at air hockey! πŸ˜‚ (no one asked Dean!) We narrowly missed making one kid need an epipen for a dairy allergy, but that was the biggest excitement of the day.  Bridger's friends were so generous and kind with their gifts to him and he's lucky to have them.

These crazies climbed up on the wall and got all the passing cars to honk for them.

We sent all the boys home with a little video game themed bag of stuff....
